Site Development Assistance
Finding & Getting Your Site Ready for Business
Site Selection Assistance:
Using Ohio InSite and a network of local economic development organizations, assistance is available to help identify industrial site and building opportunities for new business investment projects. Information on available properties is maintained by a partnership between state and local economic developers, and is available 24-7 online at our website. Just click "Buildings & Sites" in the menu on the left.
Expedited Permitting Assistance:
Collaborative efforts led by the Ohio Department of Development and involving the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio Department of Commerce, Ohio Department of Transportation, and Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, will assure that all necessary industrial, building, environmental, and related permits are processed in a timely, business-friendly manner. Where possible, ombudsman services can be offered to further streamline any multi-agency permitting processes. Click here

The Wyandot County Engineer's Office requires permits for all work performed within a road's public right-of-way in order to maintain the integrity of the roadway system. Special Hauling Permits are also required for overweight vehicles. Permits are issued by the WCEO for the County road network and all 13 townships, since the County Engineer functions as the engineer for the townships. There is no charge to obtain a permit. For a link to permits through the Wyandot County Auditor's office visit the permit section on their website.
