Annual Dinner 2016

The 2016 WCOED Annual Dinner will be held on Monday, November 14th in Carey, OH at 5:30 p.m.  This is an opportunity for WCOED members and those with an interest in the organization to come together and discuss ideas and opportunities in a social environment.  All with a vested interest in the economic viability of Wyandot County are welcome to attend!

Dean Monske – President & CEO, Regional Growth Partnership  

The Regional Growth Partnership is contracted with JobsOhio to provide economic development leadership in the 16-county Northwest Ohio region.  As such, the RGP works closely with the WCOED on business expansion and attraction projects.  Mr. Monske will provide an overview of activity in the NW Ohio region as well as information regarding his organization’s interaction with our local economic development organization.

Thomas Charnesky – Plant Manager, Hanon Systems USA (Carey)

Hanon Systems USA is the newest manufacturer to establish operations in Wyandot County.  The WCOED worked extensively with Hanon Systems in 2015 to successfully site the company’s first Midwest production location in Carey, OH.  Mr. Charnesky will provide an introduction to the Hanon Systems organization, and more specifically what will be taking place at its new Carey facility.
