The Wyandot County Office of Economic Development (WCOED) would like to congratulate our member, OPS Controls, on receiving two grant awards earlier this year. OPS Controls is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative control systems for vehicles and off-road equipment. Working alongside our partners at RGP Northwest Ohio, the WCOED was proud to help connect OPS Controls with these valuable programs to support the company’s continued growth in the Village of Carey.

Earlier this year, OPS Controls was awarded a $25,000 JobsOhio Small Business Grant to support the purchase of new machinery and equipment. As part of the project, OPS Controls also committed to creating three new full-time positions.

Shortly thereafter, OPS Controls was approved for a $15,000 JobsOhio Relocation Incentive Grant. The JobsOhio Relocation Incentive Program encourages Ohio businesses to attract STEM and technical talent to the state by providing grant assistance to companies that recruit, hire, and relocate employees from outside Ohio.
