DaVita Prepares for New Wyandot County Operation

Wyandot County will soon welcome a new entrant among its pool of healthcare providers.  DaVita Inc., a Fortune 500® company with over 2,000 locations nationwide, is set to open upDavita logo a new location on the north side of Upper Sandusky this year.  DaVita is a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, which delivers dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease.

The site of DaVita’s new location at 111 Tarhee Trail in Upper Sandusky is currently undergoing renovations.  The building was the former site of Southeast Financial Credit Union.  A new addition will bring the facility to a total of roughly 5,500 square feet, and the former drive-thru teller lanes will transform into the building’s main entrance and carport area.  Once construction is complete, DaVita’s Upper Sandusky location will feature 8 dialysis chairs, or the ability to service 8 patients simultaneously.  The office will likely have five or more staff members once in full operation.
